OMEGA-Z MY 300ZX (Z31) HOME SITE
This site was designed with the intention of show-casing my 1989 Nissan 300ZX. That car was totaled by an irresponsible young girl using a cell phone. My new vehicle is a Black 1987 Turbo 300ZX. This site will now follow the build up of THE NEW OMEGA-Z!

Well I ended up falling victim to the phrase "while I'm at it". This whole project of mine has been plagued by it!
Engine is STILL not in the car. But I've purchased and done alot more stuff than I was expecting.
I've added a 2nd picture page to the site to show some of what I've been doing. Once I clean out the engine bay and get around to finishing the wiring harness things will finally start coming together!
I've also recently got myself a new job! So if things work out I'll have some more funds to throw at the Z.

It's been a LONG time since I've updated the site. I've been busy lately especially. It ends up my Turbo Z has had a blown head gasket since last July. That race vid below where I beat a 300ZX Twin Turbo was done with a blown gasket!! How cool and scary is that! Anyway; After a tear down of the turbo block and seeing the condition it was in I decided to swap in the engine from my old n/a with all the turbo stuff swapped over. The engine has had just about everything replaced now and I hope to be dropping it in the car next weekend along with a ton of pretty go fast parts!

Another year is here. Omega-Z is packed away for the winter and I miss her. :(
In the mean time here's a clip from last fall of me beating a Twin Turbo 300ZX. Enjoy! http://videos.streetfire.net/video/a66a01fd-f387-4b62-8e63-981500667ca9.htm

Winter is upon me once more. I found a decent condition red 89' n/a 300ZX like my old one (with the exception of its color) for my daily driver/beater. My plans are currently to fix it up and just leave it be, but well.. Ideas are in my head of swapping all my stock turbo stuff over to it when I put my built motor in my current project car.
Meh. We'll see what the future holds.

LONG time since an update! Welp the pile of parts had been widdled down a bit but it always finds a way of growing again, lol. I'm fast reaching the limits of the stock turbo and fuel system so plans are in the works for a Haltech and bigger turbo come springtime next year...

Winter is fast approching. I picked up a 91' Ford Mustang LX for a dd/winter beater so I don't have to drive the Z in the snow! I've also decided on what combo of parts I'm going with for the car. I now have to start scouring the net and local adds for good deals on what I need.

I've got a bunch of parts waiting to go in the Z and more I need to order. The clutch is starting to slip so the Z might go into winter storage/fixup sooner then expected.

Saturday night at about 11:50pm I was driving home from work. As I approched the intersection of Onieda and Mason in Green Bay WI. A 16 year-old girl who just got her licence 2 days ago ran a red light. She was also driving with her boyfriend and talking on her cell phone. I saw her out of the corner of my eye and hit the brakes. I ended up locking the brakes and sliding into her passenger side. Everyone was ok but my car is screwed. Now I must wait for the insurance people to give me an insulting low offer for my damages. grr

I'm working toward getting the car setup to be a wicked fun track/street car! It's alot of hard work but will be worth it all in the end.
